Construction Estimator – Entry Level – Full-time 40 hours per week- Job added: 3/16/2017

Salary will depend on experience

Required technical skills, training, and experience

·         Relevant training and/or certification with a project cost estimating department or company
·         1-2 years’ experience working in a similar capacity
·         Experience with preparing construction and development cost estimates
·         Competence with analysis, numeration, research and use of spreadsheet and scheduling software, database cost estimating software (experience with ConnectWise not necessary but a plus)
·         Proficient in Excel, Word
·         Demonstrate leadership skills
·         Possess excellent written and oral communications skills
·         Work well in a team environment

This position is responsible for developing cost estimates, reading RFPs, development and construction schedules ranging from order-of-magnitude level to detailed working cost estimates, based on the latest available costing methodology and data, and presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for use by the client, project manager and project team.

Essential duties & responsibilities

·         Prepare development and construction capital cost estimates based on the latest data available, as appropriate to the current phase of the project
·         Prepare production operating cost estimates based on the latest data available, as appropriate to the current phase of the project
·         Prepare development and construction schedules based on latest data available, as appropriate to the current phase of the project
·         Assist Project Managers and project team in developing work breakdown structures (WBS)
·         Assist Project Managers in decisions on development and/or construction approaches or methods based on information available
·         Prepare project phase expenditure schedules
·         Study report preparation would include the creation of figures, tables, written text and compilation of associated engineering backup data
·         Participate in project economic evaluations
·         Assist in other areas required to deliver a quality product on schedule and on a budget

Marketing Coordinator – Full-time 40 hours per week- Job added: 3/16/2017

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team to create professional proposals, PowerPoint presentations, Word docs

  • Create or update of marketing and sales collateral

  • Manage a variety of online/digital activities

  • Create and send emails/newsletters, and run reporting afterwards

  • Attend regular sales and marketing meetings

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • An eye for design

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Experience with updating websites using Squarespace or similar CMS system, basic HTML, CSS a plus

  • Experience with Google Adwords & Google Analytics, Adobe InDesign

  • Experience creating/sending campaigns via either MailChimp/ or similar platform

  • Experience in construction industry preferred but not required

Requirements

  • BA/BS, ideally in a marketing or communications field

  • Minimum of 1-3 years in digital and traditional marketing
